Supraknits also supports a network of artisans who specialize in hand embroidery and hand crochet, carrying on a special Malagasy tradition.

HODO GROUP, China

The founder of Hodo, Zhou Ting Yao, worked as a factory manager in a small knitwear factory in 1983. In 1984, he registered the Hodo brand, which became a well-known brand for men's and women's clothing in China. In 1992, his son Zhou Hai Jiang took over the factory from his father and developed it into a group covering all categories of women's, men's and children's clothing.

Today, Honways employs over 500 people in its factory with 17 lines. Ningo Danaus Wing Tech Co. Ltd, China

45 years ago, Mrs. Zhou Jian Ping became the manager of the small factory NingBo Da Sheng Fashion Ltd. The factory focused on 3 types of products for men: wool blazers, wool pants and wool vests. In 2005, NingBo Da Sheng Fashion Ltd. already had 1,000 workers. In 2010, Ms. Zhou's daughter returned to China after her university education in Australia and renamed the factory Ningbo Danaus Wing Tech Co. Ltd. She expanded its production categories to include shirts and blazers for men and fashion items for women. The company works for Esprit and Uniqlo, among others.
