Gauge

Gauge measures the strength of knitwear or how many stitches and rows are required for a specific measurement when knitting. In professional textile processing, the gauge number is a unit of measurement to indicate the needle density in a knitting machine. The more needles, the finer the gauge and the more delicate the fabric. ILUXI knits vary in gauge (abbreviation: g or gg) depending on the type of knit: our range extends from chunky knit with 7g to cashmere with 12g and merino fine knit with 14g.
